Silver & Green are an award-winning, family-owned supplier of olives, oils & vinegars, pastries and antipasti sourced from the Mediterranean.
As a growing business they needed to consider both the source and cost of the energy they were using.

Challenges
Silver & Green products start with the Mediterranean sunshine, so despite their premises being much further North in Penrith, it makes perfect sense to use the same sun to power their business in the UK.

71kWp system using 445W Trina on-roof panels with 2 x 20kW SolaX inverters and 28.8kWh SolaX stackable battery storage.

Installation Process
The panels were installed to the metal roof using a Renusol mounting system. Disruption to the business was minimal with shutdown only required for a very short time while the system was commissioned.

Results & Performance
The system was installed in late 2025 and should payback on the investment by the end of 2028. The client is extremely pleased with the appearance of the installation and the opportunity to reduce the footprint of their business.
